Nigeria President, Bola Tinubu, on Tuesday, awarded the Super Eagles and members of the Team with the Member of the Order of the Niger (MON) national honour for their exceptional performance at the recently concluded AFCON 2023 tournament in Ivory Coast.
The President also gifted them a flat and a plot of land in the FCT.
This announcement was contained in a X (Twitter) post by the special assistant to President Tinubu on Social Media, Dada Olusegun.
He wrote: “President Bola Ahmed Tinubu presents the @NGSuperEagles and team Nigeria with their MON award, 1 flat in Nigeria and a plot of Land in the Federal Capital Territory as a sign of gratitude for their service.”
