Passengers stranded as NNPC, other stations shut in Osun

Following the rumours of increase in petrol pump price, many filling stations including the NNPC in Osun State, remain locked.

FACTUAL NEWS NG gathered that the NNPC filling station along Abere, Osun State, remain shut, leaving both commercial amd private vehicles and motorcycles to opt for fuel at a more expensive price.

This is as mini bus popularly know as korope jerked up their prices per drop to N200 and far distance initially pegged at N250, N300 to N400, N500 and above.

Speaking during an interview with FACTUAL NEWS NG, a residents of Osogbo, who was simply identified as Abraham, stated that the increase in pump price as escalated many issues like increase in goods and commodity price due to skyrocketing price of transportation.

he said, “what is happening in this country is not getting funny any longer the Nnpc that we run to purchase price at the rate of N580 naira as also increase their price to N887 that’s means independent marketers will also cell between 1,200 to 1,500 where are we going?

In the same dream a mini boss driver, Lateef Idowu, explain that’s the increase in pump price as significantly affected is business as many people resulted to tracking instead of boarding of vehicle.

He further revealed that many of his colleagues has abandoned the Business by parking their vehicles at home due to scarcity and expensive petrol.
