Nollywood A-list actress, Toyosi Adesanya has joined the list of theatre practitioners that have congratulated an Ile-Ife, Osun State-born thespian, Tilewa Ogunsola on the occasion of his birthday anniversary.
Adesanya in a short video circulated on the social media obtained by this medium on Sunday, February 14, described Ogunsola as a young, multi talented actor that would go far and record huge achievements in the theatre industry.
The beautiful actress said Ogunsola who recently disclosed plan to release his latest movie, Maku, has proven to be imbued with natural abilities needed by a showbiz player to excel.
She however challenged him to keep working hard and come up with good stories that would strengthen his brand and endear him more to growing audience of Nollywood globally.
“Tilewa Ogunsola is a brother and friend in the industry. If you observe it, he started acting very early and he has grown in the industry. He has produced his own movie.
“He is now a major rallying point for the entertainment industry in Ile-Ife, Osun State and beyond.
“I watched even though it has not been released officially his last movie Maku. When it is finally out, it would be a great work of art. He should keep working hard. I wish him many, more years in sound health. May God continue to bless his business,” Adesanya said.
Tilewa Adewale Ogunsola, a theatre practitioner, hails from Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria. Beside him being a movie maker, he also works in the palace of Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi as the head of electrical department.
His mother is from Ajamopo Agidi and his father is from Ile Owin Warunla Compound both in Ile-Ife. He started his movie career at the age of 12 years old. In the year 2000 under his boss Olaposi Ogunremi’s theatre group.
The first set of movies he took part in were Alhaji Yekini Ajileye’s productions namely; Koto-AYE, ALAGA KANSU, ERAN IYA OSHOGBO, etc. He produced his first movie titled Kabiyesi-Oba Adeyeye in 2015, which he also wrote and directed.
In 2018, he produced Awele, which was directed by the ace actor, Saidi Balogun and Paul Bogumbe. His last movie, MAKU is being expected any moment.
